SRINAGAR, Oct 10: With the entry of Azan Rashid, Umer Gasi, Majaz and Ishfaq Bhat in the last four stage, the semifinals lineup has been drawn in Junior Snooker event of the 22nd Srinagar District Open Billiards and Snooker Championship at Sterling Snooker Club, Raj Bagh, here.
Earlier, in the first quarterfinal played today, Azan Rashid outplayed Sakib Khan by (2-0) frames by (61-30, 68-31), while in other quarterfinal match, Umer Gasi defeated Akif Malik by two frames to one (3-1) with the scores (55-43, 28-51, 80-52).
Majaz got better of Moonis Naqash by 39-47, 58-52, 66-42 in the third quarterfinal, while
Ishfaq Bhat prevailed upon Suhail Khan by 74-56,47-43 to seal berth in the semifinal.
