JAMMU, Oct 7: Semis lineup has been drawn in the ongoing Inter Collegiate (W) Tournament 2015-16, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu at University Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, in quarterfinals, GCW Parade beat PG Department by (25-19, 28-26), GCW Gandhi Nagar beat GDC Billawar by (25-13, 25-9), while GDC Samba and GDC Ramnagar got walkovers.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Sumnesh Sharma, Suman Sharma, Bansi Lal, Sou Kumari, Rajkumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid and Romesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Mulkh Raj, Mammohan Sharma, Manu Singh, and Pushap Thakur under the supervision of event Incharge Vikas Karlopia, Volleyball Coach, University of Jammu.
Meanwhile, in Inter-Collegiate Football (Men) Tournament, GGM Science College beat GDC Hiranagar by (4-0) goals and MAM College got better of GDC Udhampur by (4-2) goals.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Gagan Kumar, Nileshwar Singh and Taranpal Singh.
