Selection trials of specially abled cricketers on Oct 3

JAMMU, Sept 28: Selection trials for the specially abled cricketers (seniors) is scheduled to be held on October 3 at KC Sports Club Cricket Ground, here.
The selection trials shall be organized under the supervision of Rajesh Gill former Ranji player, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ravi Chouhan secretary Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India, Rakesh Koul former Ranji player, Raj Kumar former Ranji player, Ashish Singh executive member J&K PCCA, Saleem Rehman and Sudhir Singh (senior cricket officials).
All the desirous specially abled cricketers of the UT of J&K are invited to participate in the said selection trials. The participant cricketers must bring their vaccination certificate along with them.
It needs to mention here that team selected from the said trials will take part in the State National Tournament which is scheduled to be held in Punjab in the second week of October, whereas players who performed well in the national tournament will be shortlisted for the Challenger Trophy which is scheduled to be held at Jammu in the 2nd week of January 2022 wherein three teams India- A, India-B and India C will take part, said Rajesh Gill.
