JAMMU, Feb 15: The open selection trials for the 24th Summer Deaflympics are scheduled to be held at various SAI and non SAI centres from February 22 onwards,
The deaflympics are held once in four years similar to Olympics and Paralympics.
According to the schedule, the trials for Athletics (Men & Women) will be held at JLN Stadium New Delhi on February 27 & 28, 2022, for Badminton (Men & Women) at JLN Stadium New Delhi on February 26, 27 and 28, 2022, for Gold (Men & Women) at Army Golf Course Ground/Air Force Golf Ground New Delhi on Marcy 4 and 5, 2022, for Judo (Men & Women) at IG Stadium New Delhi on February 26 and 27, 2022, for Karate (Men & Women) at Dhar Madhya Pradesh on February 22, 2022, for Swimming (Men & Women) at Dr SPMSPC New Delhi on February 26 and 27, 2022, for Table Tennis (Men & Women) at JLN Stadium New Delhi on February 24 and 25, 2022, for Taekwondo (Men & Women) at SAI Lucknow on February 26, 2022, for Tennis (Men & Women) at JLN Stadium New Delhi on February 24 and 25, 2022 and for Wrestling (Men) at Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi on February 28, 2022.
The entry fee of Rs 1000 per athlete/player shall be paid to the AISDC through Affiliated State Units under their jurisdiction and respectable state units are responsible for their participation.
The selection is based on the performance of the previous Deaflympics and World Championships and the final result of the selection trials will be announced right after the completion of the selection trials.
