POONCH, Sept 13: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) conducted selection-cum – trial matches of the Zonal Level Taekwondo Boys AAG of Poonch Zone at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), here.
The selection matches were conducted by maintaining social distancing and guidelines issued by the Government in which nearly 70 students from the Poonch Zone participated.
Dr Puneet Kar was the chief guest of the event, whereas the whole selection process was conducted under the supervision of ZPEO Poonch, Narinder Singh and PEM, Harjeet Kour.
All bouts were played under the technical supervision of PET Rajinder Singh and National Referee of Taekwondo and Black Belt holder from DYSS Poonch.
Aman Sharma (REK), Kernail Singh (REK) and Pinky (Ground man) were also present during the selection matches.
