JAMMU, May 19: Sehwag Cricket Academy defeated Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy by 7 wickets in the ongoing Cricket Tournament at the Academy’s ground, here.
Col Chopra Academy won the toss and decided to bat first to score 118 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Shavac Makin was the top scorer with 32 runs and Kinshuk contributed 22 runs to the total. From Sehwag Cricket Academy, Aarnav, Sarv, Ashish, Yuvraj and Laith shared one wicket each.
In reply, Sehwag Cricket Academy chased the target in 16.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Aarnav top scored with unbeaten 48 runs, while Swayam and Yuvraj contributed unbeaten 23 and 22 runs to the total respectively. From Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy, Shavac Makin took 2 wickets, while Aditya Abrol claimed1 wicket. Aarnav was adjudged as the man of the match.
