JAMMU, Jan 10: Secretary J&K State Sports Council Naseem Javaid Chowdhary has applauded ace Gymnasts Bavleen and Vandhana along with their coach Arjuna Awardee Krupali Singh for their splendid performance in Khelo India Games.
Today, the Gymnasts of J&K kept their State Flag high by winning 2 more Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal in the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games at Balewari Sports Complex, Pune.
Both the Gymnasts are the trainees of Sports Council’s Regional Coaching Centre at Indoor Sports Complex, Jammu, being run by the Sports Council
Coaches, especially Krupali Singh.
Bavleen in an outstanding performance again dominated and got 2 Gold and 2 Silver medals in Individual Appar-atus finals, whereas Vandhana too performed well and got 1 bronze today in Ribbon event.
Bavleen finished her performance with 2 Gold in Ribbon & Clubs events and 2 silvers in Hoop & Ball events simultaneously.
