SRINAGAR, Nov 23: SCFA Srinagar and ARCO Sopore FA emerged winners of today’s matches of the ongoing NIFF Football League by defeating Gungbugh FA and Tengpora FA by 6 goals to nil and 6 goals to 1 respectively while 3rd match remained goalless draw between Anantnag FA and J&K Bank FA, played at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium, here.
The first match was played between SCFA and Gungbugh FA and remained a one side affair as SCFA Srinagar outplayed Gungbugh FA by 6-0 goals. Feroz Ahmad of SCFA was adjourned as player of the match and awarded by the chief guest, BA Malik, whereas 2nd match was won by ARCO Sopore FA by trouncing Tengpora FA by 6-1 goals wherein Kashif Rashid was declared as player of the match awarded by the chief guest, Haseeb-Ur-Rehman and 3rd match ended with goalless draw between Anantnag FA and J&K Bank FA in which Mohammad Salah was given the player of the match award by the chief guest, Tariq Ahmed Bhat.
Each player of the match was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1500 and memento which was sponsored by New JK Roadways.
The Youth Football League is being organized by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
