SCC registers 7 wkts win over WCC, registers berth in next stage

JAMMU, July 14: Surinder Cricket Club (SCC) registered 7 wickets win over Whites Cricket Club (WCC) and sealed berth in the next stage of the ongoing 1st Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs, being organized by Krish Sports and Events at KC College ground, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, WCC made 85 runs by losing all wickets in 17 overs. Ashish was the top scorer with 39 runs in 31 balls, while Ravi and Surinder made 15 and 9 runs respectively.
From SCC side, Vikas was the pick of the bowler with 3 wickets, while Rajesh and Rohit Ambardar took 2 wickets each.
In reply, SCC chased the target in 13.4 overs by losing 3 wickets. Sanjay Raina played a splendid inning of 35 runs, while Rajesh Salhotra made 21 runs and Suman chipped in 12 runs.
From WCC side, Surinder scalped 2 wickets, while Ravi took one wicket.
Rajesh Salhotra was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Sunny and Rakesh as umpires, while Rehan maintained the scorecard. Faiz was the physiotherapist.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Ave Kachroo and Sagar Sadhu.
