Sayam, Ridham, Piyush secure top three ranks in U-10 boys singles

JAMMU, Sept 8: Three day long 5th District Table Soccer Championship, organized by J&K Table Soccer Association, commenced today at Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Patoli.
On the occasion, MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest, who declared open the championship in presence of Ravinder Gupta, MD and President of J&K Table Soccer Association, vice president Sammer Vohra, general secretary Komal Gupta and other members of the association.
In under-10 boys singles, Sayam Manhas of BSF Primary School, Ridham of Shastri Memorial School and Piyush of Cambridge Public School secured first, second and third positions respectively, while in under-11 singles, Kasif of Dewan Devi School, Swastik of BSF Primary School and Rajyaratan of BSF Primary School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In Doubles (boys), Sayam and Krish of BSF Primary School, Soham and Palash of BSF Primary School and Himanti and Sakasham of Dewan Devi School bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-11 mixed doubles (boys), Satyam and Aradhya of Shangrilla School and Shivam and Kanak of Shangrilla School secured first and second positions respectively.
In under-11 girls, Sudha, Prisha and Akshara, trio of Dewan Devi School clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-11 doubles (girls), Mehak and Devika of BSF Primary School, Zianth and Tawasvi of SMS and Palak and Esha of BSF bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-13 boys, Rishant and Suraj of Dewan Devi School bagged first and second positions respectively, while Nitish of Shangrilla Public School secured third position.
In under-13 doubles, Aryan and Surya of Shastri Memorial School, Samanvay and Rajveer of BSF School and Ansh and Vigneshwer of Shangrilla Public School bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
