UDHAMPUR, Jan 10: Sanskritik Mahotsav- a cultural festival was celebrated with great pomp and show at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Nainsu, here today.
The program started with ‘Sarswati Vandana’ and lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries of the event. The chief guest of the event was Dr Ravinder Kumar Sinha (Vice-Chancellor Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra), while special guest was Arvin Kumar Koul (Chief Education Officer Udhampur).
Pradeep Kumar, Vidya Bharati Rashtrya Prumkh CSR and Abhilikhghar and Ved Bhushan president (Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K ) were the speakers, whereas other dignitaries including Kanihya Pratap (Sangathan Mantri Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K Ladakh UT), Hari Bhushan gen. secretary (Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K), Shiv Nirmohi, DDC Chairman Lal Chand, Arun Gupta (Former Patron Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti and President BJP), Sunil Badyal (President Management Committee Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Nainsu School), Renu Sharma (Principal Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Nainsu ) and Principals of various Vidya Mandir were present.
Chief guest Dr Ravindra Kumar Sinha told about his life’s journey during the event and gave a message to the parents and everyone who came in the program that we should encourage our children in the direction in which they are interested and not put pressure on them so that the child can show his talent well.
Special guest Arvind Kumar guided the children with his own words and asked them to give importance to our culture along with education, while the chief speaker Pradeep Kumar also presented his views on the culture. “Our country is considered to be a country of festivals,” he said and narrated about the upcoming festival ‘Lohri’.
The president of the School’s management committee, Sunil Badyal presented a vote of thanks to all the guests.
