JAMMU, Oct 22: Y Sanathoi Devi and Praveen Kumar entered into the finals of the ongoing 15th World Wushu Championship at Shanghai.
Sanathoi Devi and Praveen Kumar defeated their counterparts from Brazil and Uzbekistan in the semifinals bouts respectively.
Meanwhile, Vikrant Baliyan confirmed bronze medal in the Championship as he defeated his rival from Georgia in the quarterfinals to meet his opponent from Philippines in the semifinals.
Poonam lost to her counterpart from Iran in the finals and won silver medal for the country.
Ravi Kumar and Roshibina Devi lost in quarterfinals against Philippines and China respectively.
The President of the Wushu Association of India, Bhupender Singh Bajwa congratulated the medallists and their coaches Kuldeep Handoo and Rajesh Kumar Tailor for brilliant performance in the Championship.
