Jammu, July 16: A three day workshop on teaching skills and innovative methodology of teaching organized by IQAC of Sai Shyam College of Education for school teachers concluded today.
C L Tickoo, Chairman of the Institution was the chief guest on the occasion.
The workshop was attended by teachers from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Jammu and teachers of experiment School of the host College.
The workshop was the part of various programmes organized by the College in connection with teacher exchange/training programmes.
During the workshop different teaching techniques were demonstrated followed by group discussion and participation in on spot teaching by participants using various innovative skills of teaching.
The participants were also familiarized with the multimedia teaching methods and importance of sending and receiving information in teaching learning process.
Dr. Usha Tickoo, Principal of the College opined that such workshops play an important role in preparing the in-service teachers for any challenge that is posed due to the modern technological use in education.
The chief guest distributed certificates among the participants.
Reeta Kaul and Kuldeep Raina from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School also spoke on the occasion, while Rajinder Kour presented the vote of thanks.
