JAMMU, May 24: Safran CC were crowned champions of the Spring Country Cup 2026 after defeating JMCC in the final at Country Cricket Stadium, Ghrota.
JMCC, batting first after winning the toss, posted 144 for 8 in 20 overs, with Vikas and Neeraj scoring 38 runs each. Safran CC chased the target in 14 overs, reaching 145 for 3, driven by Shaurya’s 70 off 34 balls.
He was supported by Shubam Sharma, Yogesh Sikka and Lazit Sharma, while Sanjeev took two wickets for JMCC. The tournament ended with awards for Vikash Raina, Arun Zalpuri, Ujwal Gupta and Sukhiee for their performances. The event jointly organised by Safran CC and Country Cricket management and concluded successfully today at Ghrota.
