JAMMU, Jan 15: As a goodwill gesture to uphold the spirit of camaraderie in sports, the players and coaches of all J&K Police Central Sports teams contributed Rs.70000 for next of kin (NOK) of Late SPO (Special Police Officer) Mohd Ishfaq who was a part of JKP Hockey team since long and breathed his last on November 14 last year.
The contributed amount was handed over to the father of the deceased SPO yesterday by Dushyant Sharma-SSP, Staff Officer Sports APHQ J&K, here.
Late SPO Mohd Ishfaq was a promising player of J&K Police Central Hockey Team who also represented J&K Police in previously held All India Police Hockey Championships.
