RR conducts  Inter Village Volleyball Tourney

UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of  Rashtriya Rifles Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi conducted the Deolmarg Inter Village Volleyball  Tournament with an aim to promote brotherhood and team spirit amongst the youth in the region.
Six teams from the remote areas of Pir Panjal ranges participated in the Tournament which was aimed at promoting Village Level Sports.
The Tournament trophy was awarded to Deolmarg, various other individual prizes were awarded to those who excelled in the Tournament. The closing ceremony was attended by officials from the Army and Village Sports bodies.
The locals lauded the Army for organizing such event, as such competitions not only foster friendship and amity amongst the Awam but also motivate the youth to pick up sports as a career.
