Royal Star CC enters finals of Champion Trophy Dalgate

SRINAGAR, Sept 22: Royal Star Buchpora Cricket Club (Royal Star CC) defeated City Gymkhana CC by two wickets and sailed into the finals of the ongoing 4th edition of Champion Trophy Dalgate-2021, being played at TRC Ground, here today.
City Gymkhana won the toss and elected to bat first in the first semi-final match of the tournament and scored 243 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 30 overs. Nadeem Dar and Atif Nabi scored 64 and 62 runs respectively for the Gymkhana.
In reply, Royal Star CC chased the target in 29.4 overs and won the match by two wickets. Hashim alias Watson scored 35 of 18 balls for Royal Star CC. Hashim was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
The tournament is being organized by Cricket Fraternity Dalgate wherein about 32 teams from different parts of the Valley are taking part.
