JAMMU, May 13: The Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir concluded the J&K Rope Skipping Gold Cup 2026 (Interschool Championship) at JP World School with enthusiastic participation of around 500 athletes from 35 schools across Jammu & Kashmir. The championship was organised by the Rope Skipping Association of J&K and hosted by JP World School, Jammu.
During the valedictory function, Dushyant Sharma, Commandant, IR 15th Battalion also President of the J&K Olympic Association, attended as chief guest and appreciated efforts to promote rope skipping in the region.
Guests of honour included Manjit Singh, Neetu Bali, KC S Mehta and Panna Manhas Choudhary. Special guests present were Vinay Khajuria, Aparna Kohli, Ashutosh Sharma, Harmohinder Singh, TP Singh and Tarsem Sharma.
In overall standings, International Delhi Public School Akhnoor emerged as Overall Winner, followed by Vishwa Bharti School as 1st Runner-Up and Shangrilla Public School as 2nd Runner-Up.
Top skippers including Kanika Sharma, Kartik Saini, Aditya Morya Singh Jamwal, Prince Mehra and Harsh Kumar were honoured along with star skippers Kaashvi Gupta and Krish Mehra. Cash prizes and mementos were distributed to winners and outstanding performers.
