Rohini wins twin climbing titles

JAMMU, Aug 27: Rohini Chib of J&K Police won the Lead climbing and the speed climbing titles in the women category of the 12th J&K State Sport Climbing Championship which concluded at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here.
Shivani Raj Kaith, a former National Champion and Urgin Choskit of Leh also displayed good climbing skills to secure the second and third places respectively.
In men’s event, Rajiv Sharma of MA College, Suraj Singh of Dogra Law College and Anil Kumar of RS Pura, all national climbers, shared the first three positions respectively.
MNDP School, RS Pura, where a 40 ft high fiber glass wall was recently installed, completely swept the Junior Boys and Sub Junior Girls category with Rahul Choudhary, Deepak Choudhary and Lovish Kumar winning the first three positions respectively in the Boys category and Sheetal Choudhary, Riya Choudhary and Pawandeep Kour sharing the first three places in the Sub Junior Girls category.
