SRINAGAR, Apr 5: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) is set to play a crucial match against Churchill Brothers Goa on Sunday, a game that could decide the winner of the I-League 2024-2025 season.
The match, scheduled to begin at 4 pm, is expected to be a thrilling contest with high stakes, as it will determine the champion of the season. Currently, four teams are still in contention for the title: Churchill Brothers lead the table with 39 points, followed by Gokulam Kerala with 37 points, and RKFC and Inter Kashi with 36 points each. All four teams have just one game remaining.

Coach Ishfaq Ahmad expressed confidence in his team, saying, “We want to finish on a high note and maintain our unbeaten home record. A win with a good margin could make us champions.” RKFC player Mohammad Hammad also appealed to fans to show their support, acknowledging their vital role in the team’s success. The match is expected to be an exciting conclusion to a closely contested season.
