Ridhima wins first prize in National Level Letter Writing Competition

JAMMU, July 6: Ridhima Chandail, a class X student of BSF School has brought laurels to the school by winning first prize in  J&K  in Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Competition  organized by the Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Post. She    was awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 by the organising department.
In an attempt to revive the art of letter writing,  the Indian Postal Service Department has organized a letter writing competition in both Hindi and English. The competition was divided into two categories –  envelope and inland. Thousands of students across the  country participated in the competition.
Ridhima Chandail daughter of Anil Chandail    is one among many gems of the school. She wrote on the topic ‘Dear Bapu, You are immortal’.
She has passion for reading books and playing badminton.
IG BSF Jammu Frontier N S Jamwal acknowledged her achievement and congratulated Dr S K Shukla Principal BSF School and his team for nurturing the students in academics as well as in sports.
DIG/PSO Hardeep Singh shared his extreme joy and pleasure. He also commended her hard work.
