SAMBA, Aug 12: Rich Harvest School, Samba, held a ceremony to induct the newly elected student council members for the 2024-25 session. The event was graced by Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister of PWD (R&B) and Higher Education, as the chief guest, and Ajay Sangra, EO Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana, as the guest of honour. The NCC Cadets presented a guard of honour to the dignitaries.
Distinguished guests included Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of Dogra Educational Trust, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director of Rich Harvest, and Ruchi Charak, Director of Rich Harvest. The ceremony began with Head of Institute Anita Bhatia invoking divine blessings by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
A musical performance by the middle wing girls delighted the audience, followed by a solemn ceremony where the new student council, led by Head Boy Pranav and Head Girl Adhya, received their badges and sashes of responsibility. The newly inducted members took the School Oath, pledging to uphold the school’s values and work in the best interest of the student community.
The Managing Director congratulated the council members and their parents, while the chief guest encouraged the students to be exemplary leaders and role models for their peers.
