Bhalla urges youth to say no to drugs, play games to stay fit

JAMMU, May 20: Traditional Rural Games Foundation of India (RGFI) organized Ist Open National Traditional Rural Games which concluded at  MA Stadium, here today.
During the event, Football, Cricket, Kabaddi & Athletic events were held.
The event was organized by Secretary Lalit Manhas, Sandeep Singh Manhas, Rajesh Malik, Sagar Lokhande, Aaftab, Anita.
Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla was chief guest on the occasion of conclusion of event.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla appreciated the effort of organizers for conducting such a event which reflects our culture and also vital to channelize energy of youth positively to contribute as responsible citizen. He emphasized on youth to say no to drugs and must play at least one game of their choice to keep themselves fit and healthy and ultimately a just society can be established.
Speaking on the occasion, Manhas said that Rural Games Federation of India envisions providing a robust, vibrant and holistic physical education & school sports activity that will engender excellence in school sports sector in India. He said R.G.F.I. envisions creating DOPE-free and harassment-free playing environment so that the athletes would become competent, confident and responsible citizen to promote peace, harmony, national integration and unity in the nation through sports.
