KPL Veteran Cup

JAMMU, Feb 13: RCC and Jhelum Cricket Club (JCC) registered wins over RSCC and Shuhul Knight Riders (SKR) in the ongoing KPL Veteran Cup-6, being played at KC Ground, here today.
In the first league match, RCC defeated RSCC. Batting first, RSCC made 118 runs in 18.2 overs which was easily chased by RCC in 11.1 overs. For RCC Surinder played a splendid knock of 79 runs in 36 balls and was declared as man of the match.
In another match was played between Jhelum Cricket Club (JCC) and Shuhul Knight Riders (SKR), JCC emerged the winner of the match.
Batting first after winning the toss SKR managed only 91 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rajesh Bhat made 25 runs, while Sanjay Bhat scored 21 runs. For JCC, Sunny Bhan was the pick of the bowlers who took 4 wickets.
In reply, JCC comfortably chased the target in 15.3 overs by losing only 2 wickets and registered 8 wickets win over their opponents. For JCC, Rocky Raina scored 31 runs and captain Susheetal Dhar made 37 runs and both the players remained unbeaten. Sunny Bhan was adjudged as man of the match for his splendid bowling performance.
