Zonal Level T20 Cricket Cup

JAMMU, Mar 26: Rawi Tawi Warriors and Chenab Raiders registered fantastic wins by defeating their rivals convincingly in the ongoing Zonal level T20 Cricket Cup for under-19 boys Jammu, being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu under the Civic Action Programme at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
In first match, Rawi Tawi Warriors defeated Poonch Panthers by eight wickets. Batting first Poonch Panthers scored 131 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 16 overs match. Ridham made 42 runs, Touheed scored 43 runs and Elias contributed eight runs. From the bowling side, Aqib Rather and Vishal took claimed two wickets each and Kawalpreet Singh claimed one wicket.
In reply, Rawi Tawi Warriors chased the target in 14.1 overs by losing only two wickets, thus won the match by eight wickets. Kawalpreet Singh scored 50 runs, while Nishank and Arsh contributed 32 and 26 runs respectively. Kawalpreet Singh was declared as man of the match for his brilliant all round performance.
In another match, Chenab Raiders defeated UR Superkings by nine wickets. Batting UR Superkings scored 47 runs in 10 overs by losing all wickets, Ayan made 11 runs and Nikhil contributed eight runs. From the bowling side, Umar took five wickets while Mayur clinched three wickets.
In reply, Chenab Raiders chased the target in eight overs by losing only one wicket and thus won the match by nine wickets. Imran and Farhan scored 19 and10 runs respectively. From the bowling side Taksh took one wicket for his team. Umar was declared as man of the match for his brilliant bowling.
