UDHAMPUR, Mar 15: Taking forward the community policing initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Udhampur- Reasi Range level Volleyball tournament 2019 under Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, being organised under the supervision of Bhim Sen Tuti, DIG U/R Range, in the memory of Martyr DySP Aman Thakur got underway here today.
The tournament was today inaugurated by Rajiv Pandey, SSP Udhampur in presence of Rajinder Katoch, Additional SP Udhampur, Ramesh Pangotra, SP, ADO RPHQ Udhampur, DySP Kameshwar Puri SO to DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range and other prominent citizens, participants and staff of District Youth Services and Sports, Udhampur.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pandey laid stress on the importance of sports activities in the life of person especially youths.
A Volleyball match between CBC Volleyball team Udhampur and Panchari Volleyball team was played on the occasion of inaugural function, which was won by CBC Volleyball team Udhampur.
