RAMBAN, Mar 28: On the directions of PHQ J&K Jammu and under close supervision of ZPHQ Jammu /RPHQ Batote, Ramban Police organised Martyrs Cricket tournament at DPL, under Civic Action Programme-2019, here.
SSP Ramban Anita Sharma earlier on the opening day inaugurated the tournament in which 10 teams of District Ramban participated.
The final match was played between KKR Magerkote and Kingfisher Ramban. KKR Magerkote defeated the rival to win the title.
On the occasion, trophies, kits and other prizes were distributed among the winners and other participants.
SSP Ramban in her address said that sports teach us discipline, adding that J&K Police is providing platform to the youth to harness their capabilities in the field of sports to explore their talents.
She Impressed upon youth to make games & sports as hobby in their lives which will help in the development of physical, mental and social well being.
Others who were present on the occasion includes Aditional SP Sanjay Parihar, DySP Hqtrs, Ramban Asgar Malik, DySP DAR Ajay Jamwal and SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal.
