Army organises Cycling Expedition

REASI, Mar 28: In consonance with Army’s ongoing efforts to educate young minds, Indian Army conducted a Cycling Expedition for enthusiastic local youth of Talwara here.
This Expedition was a befitting platform to showcase support of the ‘awam’ to the Indian Army’s ongoing bid for bringing harmony, confidence and patriotism among the youth of the region.
The youth participated in this cycling expedition with exemplified vigour, fervour and enthusiasm.
The team of enthusiastic youth started 80 kilometers Expedition from Reasi Stadium covering the areas of Baradari Bridge, Talwara, Salal Dam, Thanpal Bridge, Radkhad, Arnas, Narlu Bridge, Kanthan, Salal Kotli, Jyotipuram, Gran More, Reasi Market and Talwara.
The expedition comprising of 15 local youth and five Army personnel was flagged off by Brigadier JS Shekhawat, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Uniform Force from Reasi Sports Stadium.
The event fosters the bond of friendship between the local populace and the men in uniform.
The local populace appreciated the Army for their continued and committed efforts to bring peace and harmony in the region.
