RAJOURI, Feb 27: With the objective of harnessing the talent of youth, District Police Rajouri today organized a District level Talent Hunt competition “Chhoona Hai Aasman” Season-3 under ‘Civic Action Programme’ at District Police Lines, here today.
The competition was held in two categories of Senior and Junior, in which 48 contestants 29 Junior, 19 Senior from various Schools and Colleges participated. In both senior and junior categories 2 best male and 2 female singers were selected. In senior category, Sahil Mehra, Mehran Shah, Rubia Syeed and Shafaq Khan were adjudged best singers, whereas in junior category, Rohit Kumar, Kushal Kumar, Rukhsana Kousar and Palvi Sharma were adjudged as best singers. These 8 selected candidates would now participate at Range level competition. The function was attended by prominent citizens and Heads of various Government/Private Institutions.
The Jury members comprised of Bharat Bushan Vaid, Vishal Kumar and Sanjeev Gupta, Information Officer.
On this occasion, chief guest Danish Rana, DIG, Rajouri-Poonch Range distributed certificates among the winners.
