JAMMU, May 25: Prof Adit Gupta, Principal of MIER College of Education (Autonomous) Jammu and Director of the MIER Group of Institutions, has brought international recognition to the Institution by presenting cutting-edge research at the International Conference on GenAI and Pedagogical Innovations in Higher Education (GaPI 2026), held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.
The conference, one of the most significant global gatherings in the field of artificial intelligence and education, attracted over 180 research submissions from scholars and educators across more than 20 countries. After a rigorous double-blind review process, Prof Gupta’s paper, co-authored with Prof Mool Raj and Prof Ankur Gupta, was selected for presentation.
The research paper, titled “Developing the AI Interaction Knowledge Scale for Higher Education Teachers: Pilot Validation,” introduces a first-of-its-kind framework and validated measurement tool designed to assess how effectively university teachers use generative AI in their teaching practice.
Several institutions expressed interest in research collaboration, and discussions on Memoranda of Understanding were initiated with a number of international universities and colleges, underscoring the global relevance and applicability of the AIK research programme.
