JAMMU, Dec 21: Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir kept her State’s flag high by winning the title trophy in All India Talent Series of AITA Under-16 girls at Ranjit Singh Memorial Complex, Company Bagh in Amritsar.
Prinkle defeated her rival Kavya Gupta of Delhi easily in two straight sets, winning both by (6-2).
Meanwhile, her elder brother Sumitpal failed to win the coveted trophy in Under-16 boys event as his opponent Nihit Singh toppled him by 3-6, 3-6 to emerge winner.
In Under-18 boys category, Sumitpal lost to Jagtar Singh of Harvest Tennis Academy Ludhiana easily by 1-6, 3-6.
