JAMMU, Apr 26: Young Tennis star of Jammu and Kashmir, Prinkle Singh today entered the quarter-finals by beating Neeru of Haryana in a three setter match of the ongoing All India AITA Ranking Women Tournament at Sunrise Academy, Chandigarh Club Sector-1.
Prinke won the first set by 6-2, lost the second set by 4-7 and won third set by 6-1 and clinched the match by (6-2, 6-7, 6-1).
Meanwhile, in doubles, Prinkle Singh in partnership with Urmi Pandey of Madhya Pradesh reached quarterfinal by defeating Kashish Bhatia/ Deepa of Delhi by 6-0, 6-0
in men’s category Sumitpal Singh and Kabir of Chandigarh defeated Anurag Nenwani of Delhi and Yash Yadav of Madhya Pradesh by (5-7, 7-5, 10-5).
