Pre-quarterfinals lineup drawn in All India Police Football Championship

JAMMU, Feb 6: Pre-quarterfinals position has been cleared in the 66th Bn Mullik Memorial All India Football Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department under the patronage of DGP Dr SP Vaid at different venues, here.
The teams which have sealed berth in the last 16 stages include BSF, Uttarakhand Police, Assam Rifles, West Bengal Police, Punjab Police, CISF, Sikkim Police, SSB, CRPF, Kerala Police, Mizoram Police, Goa Police, Bihar Police, Jharkhand Police, Andhra Pradesh Police and Maharashtra Police.
Vying for the top honours, the players of various teams displayed superb soccer skills during the nine matches played on day-4 today.
In the first match played today at Jammu University ground, Uttarakhand Police defeated BSF by a solitary goal (1-0). For Uttarakhand Police,  Amit Bisht scored the goal in 62nd minute.
In another match played at this venue, RPF drubbed Manipur Police by one goal to nil (1-0). A. Hussain was the goal scorer in 57th minute.
At BSF Paloura ground, Assam Rifles trounced Nagaland Police by a solitary goal and the goal was netted by A. Rito in 64th minute of the match, while in another match played at this venue, ITBP thrashed Puducherry Police by seven goals to one (7-1).  Surjit Pradhan was the star performer for ITBP, scoring four important goals in 21st, 32nd, 58th and 60th minutes,  while the other three goasl were neted by Inderjeet Ghosh, Suresh Sundhi and Kishan Kalita in 64th, 67th, and 88th minutes. The lone goal scored from Puducherry Police was pelted by Michel sodhi in 47th minute of the match.
At Jammu University ground-II, Tamil Nadu Police defeated Madhya Pradesh Police by three goals to nil (3-0). The goal were scored by Pachirajan, Gopi Nath and Ramesh in 75th, 83rd and 88th minutes respectively.
In another match at Jammu University ground-II, CRPF outplayed Delhi Police by two goals to one (2-1). Amarjeet and Rahul scored the goals for XRPF in 52nd and 65th minute
At GGM Science College ground, Sikkim Police crushed Gujarat Police by eight goals to nil (8-0). Birdar Radhan scored three goals in 3rd, 24th and 75th minutes respectively, while Shantiram Luitel pelted another three goals in 10th, 20th and 38th minutes respectively.  Lachotsh Lepcha and Bharat Majirawa scored the goals in 37th and 85th minutes respectively.
In another match at GGM Science College ground, SSB drubbed Haryana Police by two goals to nil (2-0).  Ranjeet Xarforma scored the goals in 10th and 20th minutes respectively.   Lone goal scored from Delhi Police was by PC Lalrualbla in 57th minute.
Lakashdweep Police defeated Odisha Police by three goals to two (3-2). Shafeeqve scored the goals in 57th and 77th minutes, while Rabi Mundari netted another goal in 62nd minute. The goal scorer for Odisha was Aita Singh Gurung, who pelted both the goals in 38th and 90th minutes.
In the last match of the day, CISF got the better of Punjab Police by a solitary goal (1-0). BS Cheema scored the goal in 35th minute.
