Prasad stresses for organizing camps

SRINAGAR, Aug 29: Seven days Shooting Coaching Camp 1st ever in Kashmir Division organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association in association with J & K State Sports Council and J&K Police concluded at S.P. Higher Secondary School here today.
Around 100 students drawn from different educational institutions of Kashmir Division which includes Tyndale Bisco, Green Valley Educational Institute, Kashmir Harvard HSS Educational Institute, Sri Pratap Higher Secondary School, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Soura, AIPS Pantha Chowk,  Saddiquia Public School, Zewan, Government Women College M.A.Road, Zewan Police Colony and District Baramulla participated in the camp.
Earlier the camp was declared open by Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation,  Dilbag Singh on August  23, 2013 in which the students were imparted training in Air Weapons.
Speaking on the concluding function the Director General of Police,  Ashok Prasad who was the chief guest advised to organize such more camps in the Valley in future. He also assured full cooperation and support to the Association.
The other dignitaries who were present on the occasion were MD Police Housing Corporation, Dilbag Singh, Gen. Secy. (JKRA), Sudhir Kumar, Sharat Chander Singh (treasurer), Omer Neodu, (Vice President Kashmir Division), Dr. Narinder Bhatia, Vice-President, S. Jaipal Singh (Jt. Secy. Kashmir Division), Neelofar Amin, Jt. Dir.YS&S, Jameel  Mir, Sports Officer, J&K Police and Gulzar Ah. Ahanger, PEM. The Principal, S.P. HSS, Srinagar, gave full cooperation besides other facilities during conduct of the said coaching camp.
The camp was organized under the supervision of well versed and National Rifle Association of India’s qualified coach  Rajesh Virdhy besides Kulbir Singh and Vijay Kumar (National Shooters of J&K Police).
