JAMMU, Apr 7: A superb all-round performance by Praful Dhar guided Tawi Cricket Academy (TCA) to a commanding 90-run victory over SCA Juniors in a match at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, today.
Batting first, Tawi Cricket Academy posted a challenging total of 283 runs in 40 overs. Praful Dhar, coming in at number six, scored an outstanding 95 runs off 78 balls, including 15 fours and one six. Charukesh Sharma supported well with 54 runs off 62 balls, hitting 8 fours and one six. Ragaw Sharma added 34 runs off 34 balls with 7 boundaries, while Tarun, Dhairya, Shourya and Chandan contributed useful runs to the total.
For SCA Juniors, Mohd Shafiq and Saqlain Mushtaq claimed 2 wickets each, while Ricky and Akash took one wicket each. In reply, SCA Juniors were all out for 193 runs, losing the match by 90 runs. Saqlain Mushtaq top-scored with 71 runs off 49 balls, including 13 boundaries, while Adarsh Yadav contributed 55 runs off 60 balls, hitting 8 fours.
Praful Dhar shone with the ball as well, taking 3 wickets for 44 runs in 8 overs. Atul Watloo and Vansh took 2 wickets each, while Shourya, Dhairya and Akash claimed one wicket each. Praful was named Player of the Match for his exceptional all-round performance.
