JAMMU, Feb 28: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized selection trials and selected State Federation Cup and Deadlift Power Lifting Men and Women teams for their participation in the National Deadlift and Federation Cup Powerlifting Championship, being held at Kapurthala in Punjab from March 27, 2015 to March 31, 2015.
The team has been selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary and other officials including Narinder Singh, Vinay Sharma, Rakesh Pandoh and Inderpal Singh.
In women’s team, the selected players included Megha Jain, Nidhi Sharma, Roohi Sharma, Monika, Preeti, Harmeet Kour and Irvinder Kour, while in men’s category, the selected players included Deepak, Aditya Pandoh, Vishal Kohli, Sourav, Deshant khajuria, Firoz Khan ,Akansh Dadwal, Pankaj Verma, Rohit Singh Jamwal, Rajiv, Faisal Paul, Vijay Choudhary, Manjeet Singh, Dhanuj, Charanjeev Singh, Satinder pal Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Feroz Khan, Deepak, Pawan Kumar, Bhaskar Sharma, Jaspreet, Raza, Rahul Sharma and Vijay Chaudhary.
Rajan Jain will accompany the team alongwith the other officials.
