POONCH, Oct 11: Poonch House Hockey Club got better of Stadium XI by two goals to nil (2-0) to advance in the junior women category of Poonch District Women Hockey Championship, being organized by Hockey Poonch at Sports Stadium, here.
Meenakshi blossomed for Power House Hockey Club, scoring both the goals in 5th and 47th minute of the match, which the team held till the end and won the match by the same margin.
The match was officiated by Tanvy Kumar and Naveed Wani as field umpires, while NIS hockey coaches Pawan Kumar and Mukesh Kumar were the table officials.
The tournament is being organized by Hockey Poonch, under the auspices of Hockey J&K and under the supervision of Sham Lal Sharma, SAI hockey coach and vice president Hockey J&K.
