POONCH, Mar 19: Poonch District Chess Championship concluded at Raza-ul-Uloom Islamia Higher Secondary School, here today.
Arun Sharma bagged gold, while Ankush Sharma won silver and Abhishek Gupta claimed bronze medal in the Championship.
Certified Trainer Ajit Singh was the chief arbiter of the event, who gave tips, guidance and material to the players for further improvement.
It is pertinent to mention here that All Jammu and Kashmir Chess Association (AJAKCA), under the supervision of its President Atul Kumar Gupta, is holding training camps and events at various places of the State continuously.
This was the first ever training camp held in Poonch district.
Shoaib Jatt was the chief organizer of this event.
