Srinagar July 23: For the third time, Jammu and Kashmir Police is organizing All India Police Water Sports Championship from July 27 to 31 at world famous Dal Lake here.
The opening cermony of the five day long mega event will be held in the rear lawns of SKICC on July 27, 2015 at 5 pm, a police spokesman said. “15 teams of different Central and State organizations of the county are participating in the event. More than 450 athletes will compete in Canoeing, Kayaking and rowing events,” he said.
The closing ceremony of the event is scheduled to be held on July 31, 2015 at 5 pm at the same venue, he added.
