Police T20 cup concludes at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: To strengthen the relation between Police and public and to keep the youth of Rehmbal area away from social evils besides keeping them mentally and physically sound, Udhampur Police organized a 20-20 Cricket tournament at Choprashop, Rehmbal under Civic Action Programme, here today.
Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, SSP Udhampur was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who later-on distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
8 teams of different clubs of Rehmbal area of District Udhampur participated in the tournament and final match was played between the team of Young Blood Ghari and Choprashop Seniors, wherein Young Blood Ghari won the match by 5 wickets and thereby winning the 20-20 series. Vicky of Young Blood Ghari bagged man of the match and man of the series award.
The winners were presented a cash prize of Rs 3000, while the runners-up team received a cash prize of Rs 2000 from the chief guest.
