REASI, Mar 30: District Police organized a Volleyball tournament at Arnas under Civic Action Programme, here today.
Eight teams of Mahore and Arnas area participated in the event which played on knockout basis.
The final match was played between team Mahore and Arnas at Volleyball Ground Thanpal Arnas in which team Arnas won the match by defeating Mahore by 3:1 games and lifted the title of the tournament.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Amit Gupta was chief guest of the occasion and witnessed the nail biting contest in presence of SDPO Arnas Pritpal Singh and locals. Trophies and refreshment was distributed among the players.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP said that sports activities are must for a healthy youth and Jammu Kashmir Police is providing opportunities, platform for such sports activities so that the local youth showcase their talent.
