SAMBA, Feb 25: Police inaugurated Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament at Govt Higher Secondary School Ground Ramgarh, here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by DDC Chairman Samba- Keshav Sharma, SDM Vijaypur Chander Parkash Kotwal and SDPO Vijaypur, Lov Karan Taneja in presence of DDC member, Sarbjeet Singh, DDC member- Anita Choudhary, Principal GHSS Ramgarh, Ashwani Kumar, SHO Ramgarh, Inder Pal Singh, Ex Vice Chairman Ramgarh, Anil Gupta and members of civil society and youth.
About 16 teams are participating in the contest. The matches are being held on knock out basis, whereas the winner and runner-up teams will be awarded with suitable cash prizes, mementos, trophies and commendation certificates.
