Police Martyrs T20 League concludes

GANDERBAL, Nov 23: Martyrs T-20 Police Premier League, organised by Police, concluded with a grand finale at Qamariya Ground, here today.
The grand finale was played between Libra Blues Saloora and Sultan Lions Tulmulla wherein latter lifted the tournament.
SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar graced the occasion as chief guest along with Addl. SP Ganderbal Feroz Yeyha, SDPO Kangan Yasir Qadri, DySP Headquarters Gh Hassan, DYSP DAR Muzaffar Jan, Senior cricket player Sayim Mustafa and other senior officers.
Libra Blues Saloora scored 110 runs in the allotted 20 overs, while chasing the target of 111 runs Sultan Lions Tulmulla reached the target with ease and won the tournament.
Both winner and runner up teams were awarded with cash prizes, trophies and medals to boost their morale.
The SSP congratulated the winning team for showcasing excellent performance in the final match and interacted with the players and also assured them that Ganderbal Police is always at their door steps for every assistance.
Locals also witnessed the grand finale event and expressed gratitude towards Police and appreciated their role to channelize the energy of the youth of the district towards sports and other constructive activities.
