Police Martyrs T-20 Cricket tournament concludes

POONCH, Nov 6: Police Martyrs Memorial U/19 T-20 Cricket tournament, organised by District police, concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
The final match was played between Haveli Tigers and Pir Panchal Lion. The former lifted the trophy by defeating later with 17 runs.
About 16 teams from different areas of Poonch district participated in the tournament wherein 32 players were selected for next level of competitions during the tournament.
SSP, Ramesh Angral briefed about the multiple events, organized by police as part of 10 days ‘Flag Day Program’ in memory of gallant police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He also appreciated the sports fraternity for their cooperation for organising the sports event.
Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav was the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts put in by District police to channelize youth energy in positive direction.
The program was conducted by Pardeep Sharma, an eminent artist while the tournament was organised under technical supervision of Pawan Kumar (JKCA) and Pervaiz Ahmed Malik (REK).
