Police holds Dangal in Samba

SAMBA, Dec 8: Thousands of people gathered to witness a wrestling ‘Dangal’ competition here today in Samba which was organised by Samba police.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Samba Benam Tosh, Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, DySP Headquarters Samba, Bhishm Dubey, DySP operation Samba Garu Ram Bhardwaj, DySP DAR Samba Surinder Mohan, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and SHO Samba Daljit Singh felicitated the wrestlers with cash prizes who emerged out winners as well as those who were adjudged as runners-up.
First prize (‘Badi Mali ‘) was won by Vijay Sharma of Jammu defeating Salam Din of Vijaypur, second prize was won by Constable Monu Singh of Akhnoor defeating Bodh Raj of Sumb and third prize was clinched by Constable Raj Singh of Samba defeating Baghu of Samba. Over fifty wrestlers (Pahalwans) of Punjab, Samba, Kathua and Jammu participated in dangal.
