JAMMU, Apr 11: The Government Degree College (GDC) Pouni today organised a `Musshairrah-cum-poetry competition’ under the guidance of Prof Rajni Bhagat, Principal which was convened by Prof Jaspal Singh.
Over 20 students of the College participated in the competition. Students from Departments of English, Dogri, Punjab, Hindi and Urdu expressed their ideas in the form of `shayaari’, songs and poetry.
Prof Jaspal Singh, Assistant Professor of Punjabi expressed his own works of `shyaari’.
Other faculty members present on the occasion include Prof Balbir Kumar, Dr Liyaquat Bashir, Prof Sapna Sharma, Prof Bindu Sharma, Prof Harjinder Singh, Prof Rajnish Kumar and Prof Manshad Begum.
In her remarks, Prof Rajni Bhagat appreciated the efforts of organizing committee for the event.
