JAMMU, Dec 26: A superb knock of unbeaten 98 runs and splendid 4-wicket haul by Pavit Singh Ishar helped Sidhant Cricket Academy to thrash Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy-B by a bigmargin of 79 runs in the ongoing Under-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at IIIM-CSIR ground, here today.
Earlier, Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy -B team won the toss and elected to field first.
Put into bat, Sidhant Cricket Academy scored a mammoth total of 185 runs for 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Skipper Pavit Singh Ishar scored unbeaten 98 runs off 59 balls, studded with 13 delectable boundaries and 4 sixes, while Munish and Rohit contributed 31 and 23 runs to the total respectively. For Col. R N Chopra Cricket Academy -B team, Parth took 2 wickets and Ayush claimed 1 wicket.
Col. R N Chopra Cricket Academy in reply bundled out for a paltry total of 106 runs in 15.4 overs. Arya scored 17 runs and Lionar chipped in with 15 runs. For Sidhant Cricket Academy, Pavit Singh Ishar was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 4 wickets in 3.4 overs giving away just 7 runs, while Prince took 3 wickets and Anshuman claimed 2 wickets.
