Parivartan wins Men Jammu Kho-Kho Open title

JAMMU, Oct 10: Parivartan won Men Jammu Open District Championship title, while PG Club got better of Green Field in Women section and NIS Club stood at 3rd place in the Jammu Open District Kho-Kho Championship, played at Green Field Gandhi Nagar, here today.
About seven men’s teams and five women’s teams participated in the tournament, wherein Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Directorate of Sports & Physical Education University of Jammu was the chief guest of the closing ceremony and he appreciated the role of organisers of J&K Kho-Kho Association for organising the tournament in well manner.
BS Tirthi, chief coach of India was the guest of honour and president of the Association, Manmeet Singh was also present on the occasion along with Rajesh Dutta, general secretary Body Building Association of J&K, Harjeet Singh general secretary of Kho-Kho Association, Gagan Kumar (coach), Ajay Gupta (coach), Anil Sharma (coach) and Anil Gupta, treasurer JK Bank.
The matches were conducted by a panel of experts including Amrinder Pal Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Rahi Sharma and Tarmeet Shenu.
