Param FC wins 1st match in All India Challenge Football Tourney

JAMMU, Mar 14: Param Football Club (FC), a senior club from Jammu, won its first match today in All India Challenge Football Tournament against ACB Football Club, Korba, Chattisgarh by two goals to nil (2-0) at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh.
Both the goals were scored in the first half. Novi Singh opened the account for Param FC on a well placed cross by Shezan Malik early in the 6th minute of the match.
Another goal was scored in 15th minute when Pradeep put in a brilliant free kick behind opposition defence to enable Arun to put in an excellent header in the nets.
Though the rival players made many moves, yet Param FC managed to maintain the lead and ended the match with a well planned win.
Gagandeep was the captain of the team and outpaced every attack of the opposition with his thundering pace, while Brijender, Arun, Arjun, Palwinder Kalsi and Mohit played a big role in today’s win.
Param FC will play their second match on March 16. 2016.
