JAMMU, Dec 15: Pankaj Choudhary of Govt Degree College (GDC) Rajouri stood first, while Lal Chand of GDC Samba won 2nd and Haroon Rashid of GDC Rajouri bagged 3rd position in the Inter-Collegiate cross country championship, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education University of Jammu, here today.
Prof Dhian S Bhau Director, Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu flagged off the race in the presence of Physical Directors-Balbir Singh Chib Mandeep Singh, Neelam Chalotra and Mukesh Sharma, besides Ravi Gupta, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Arjun Singh, Jai Baharat and P D Singh.
The Championship was conducted by athletic coaches Nirmal Singh and Harsimran Singh.
Inter-Collegiate cross country (women) championship 2014-15 will be organized at 7.30am at the same venue tomorrow.
